About Captain Tommy

Hello, my name is Captain Tommy Collins, and I would like to invite you on a guided fishing trip or a nature tour.  I have lived, worked, and fished along the world famous St. Johns River for all of my life.

After 60 years of local fishing, the love of fishing has not left me.  Not only do I love to fish, I love to instruct others on how to fish. I have guided for a Class 1 railroad on the St. Johns River for over 21 years.  I run a family oriented Christian guide service. My goal is for you to have Great Day out on the water!!

The St. Johns river is 311 miles long and is one of the few rivers that flow south to north. It is one of just a few American Heritage designated rivers in the US. There is an abundance of wildlife, trees and flowers. Manatees and alligators are plentiful. You may see deer, wild hogs and otters along the banks of the river. Bald Eagles, osprey’s, all sort of wadding birds and an assortment of other birds are found year round. The river abounds with many things to see.
